
On August 20, 2024, Hope Givers hosted the SA Heritage Extravaganza Dialogue in collaboration with FAB Creations, the National Heritage Council, Play Your Part, and CCIFSA. The event took place at the Hope Givers Hub on R36 Lydenburg Road, Muhlaba village, Greater Tzaneen, bringing together artists and stakeholders from various cultural sectors to discuss opportunities and challenges within the industry.


Standard Bank was represented by Mr. Mukondi Nemavhulaini. Sponsored by Standard Bank, the event also provided a platform for the bank to share its services tailored to the creative arts sector and other businesses. Tsakani Mkhari, the Director and Founder of Hope Givers, served as the programme director, ensuring a smooth flow of activities throughout the event.

Prominent guest speakers included Richie Teanant (Singer), Mrs. Khanyisa Shandlale of Kaypee Events (Balloon Artist), Tebele Kgatle, Chairperson of CCIFSA Greater Tzaneen, Maria Masetla of Skynorth Productions, and the founder and director of Empire Film and Television. Norman Ndlovu, the accountant and founder of TCB Accountants, also addressed the attendees, providing valuable insights on tax-related issues, budgeting, and managing fixed expenses and income. The event was further enriched by performances from Richie Teanant, Tebele Kgatle, Kodi Malatji, Xipanere, Rifumo Mathebula (Jay Dzuni) and Nkateko Machave (Machave) duet, and Usher Matarise (Usher PK), who blessed the audience with their songs. Among the attendees were executive members of CCIFSA Greater Tzaneen, including the Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and additional members.
The dialogue offered a vital opportunity for artists to voice their experiences and concerns, while also emphasizing the importance of empowerment and support in the creative arts. The discussions highlighted the crucial role of cultural heritage in shaping identity and the need for sustained support in the industry.













The event was honoured by the presence of Greater Tzaneen Municipality Councillor M.M. Makwala and Mrs. Constance Maholovela, Cultural Coordinator of Greater Tzaneen. Both officials underscored the importance of nurturing cultural heritage and providing robust support to artists.
The SA Heritage Extravaganza Dialogue was a significant step towards fostering collaboration and growth within the cultural sector, offering valuable insights and opportunities for all participants.
