
SEDA (Small Enterprise Development Agency) has funded and organized a 5-day technical training on massage and eyebrow tinting for 10 entrepreneurs. The training occurred from the 5th to the 9th of September 2022 at the SEDA Mopani office in Limpopo, Tzaneen.

Devine Glamour Beauty School, an accredited training provider appointed by SEDA, facilitated the training. The course was led by Kgaogelo Maponya and Sarah Mangena from Devine Glamour Beauty School. Participants received a qualification in Beauty & Nail Technology at NQF level 4.
Modules Covered:
- Swedish massage
- Aromatherapy
- Hot stone full body massage
- Eyelash extensions
- Lash perming
- Anatomy
- Eyelash tinting
- Eyebrow tinting
SEDA employees, including Tabitha Mangena (Training Specialist) and Maria Rafferty (Information Officer), were present during the training, assisting with the organization of all necessary items for the activities.

These women have benefited greatly from the training, gaining the skills and qualifications needed to run their own businesses. SEDA’s initiative aims to empower women by providing them with the skills and independence to succeed as entrepreneurs.
