Nkowankowa — In celebration of Mandela Day on 18 July 2025, EMR Vision Foundation organized a vibrant Fun Walk and Soccer Tournament that united the community in the spirit of giving, fitness, and sportsmanship. The event began early in the morning, with participants gathering at Nkowankowa Stadium from 06:30 to embark on a walk dedicated to service and community care.

The Fun Walk Route included meaningful stops that embodied the true essence of Nelson Mandela’s legacy of compassion and service. The first stop was Tlangelani Older Persons Centre, located next to LB Kubayi Crèche, where participants — joined by sponsors Sasko and Simba — handed out goodie packs to the elderly residents. The walk then continued along the police station road to the Ritavi Victim Empowerment Centre, where volunteers offered sandwiches, bread, and assisted in cleaning and painting the centre to create a more welcoming space for victims in need of support.

After the community service activities, participants returned to Nkowankowa Stadium for the much-anticipated Soccer Tournament, which featured thrilling matches and incredible teamwork.
