After observing a need to furnish young people with empowering information, Magamana Rikhotso, founder of the EMR Vision Foundation, hosted an information-sharing and networking event. The foundation focuses on empowering disadvantaged communities to help them reach their full potential.
The event brought together individuals and stakeholders from various government departments, agencies, and businesses to share insights on topics such as employment and business opportunities, tax, and labor-related matters. Advocate Carla Mkhawana and Amu Mageza served as the MCs for the event.
Guests included representatives from Nandzu Business Enterprise, Capitec Business, MTN Momo and Skhokho, the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), the National Youth Development Agency, the South Africa Revenue Service, and the Department of Employment and Labour (DEAL), among others.
Eric Magamana Rikhotso, the founder of the organization, plans to host these sessions regularly.
